About James Bielefeldt
As of January, 2007, I work as a Project Manager for BIG WHEEL, an interactive marketing firm, in St. Louis, Missouri. Creating web-centric marketing campaigns integrated with functional business needs are the type of projects we're involved with most and by using a creative yet practical approach we employ the best technologies and practices available. I've also worked for a number of advertising agencies and as a consultant providing Internet strategy, project management and web development to a variety of clients.
After a career as an advertising photographer, I changed my focus to the web. My new career began with training as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). This and my experience in marketing, design, and a mix of things related to digital communication has allowed me to participate in a variety of interactive projects:
Most recently I obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Combined with six years in interactive project management, this certification has strengthened my management skills and helps me consistently deliver exceptional results to my clients.
The blog, blend, was started in March, 2006 as a way to improve my writing, and store and share my thoughts and useful tidbits.
