I work as a business analyst for Daugherty Business Solutions, an IT/business consulting firm in St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve also worked for a number of advertising agencies and as a consultant providing Internet strategy, project management and web development to a variety of clients.
After a career as an advertising photographer, I changed my focus to the web. My new career began with training as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). This and my experience in marketing, design, and a mix of things related to digital communication has allowed me to participate in a variety of interactive projects:

- intranets
- application interface design
- content development and information architecture
- content management systems
- e-commerce
Five years ago I obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Combined with ten years in interactive project management, this certification has strengthened my management skills and helps me consistently deliver exceptional results to my clients.
The blog, blend, was started in March, 2006 as a way to improve my writing, and store and share my thoughts and useful tidbits.
